The County Transportation Agency announced that effective September 16 Kaua’i Bus drivers will no longer be providing face coverings to passengers. Mayor Kawakami said, “As a reminder for everyone’s health and safety, The Kaua’i Bus is for essential trips only, and users are required to use face coverings on the bus and while waiting near others at bus stops.” While on The Kaua’i Bus, passengers are to observe COVID-19 safety protocols.
